Therapeutic Massage
Swedish Massage
Renew your sense of wellbeing, experience a great night’s sleep and release built up muscle tension using firm or gentle pressure, the practitioner will employ the five movements listed above (effleurage, vibration, friction, kneading, and tapping) to create flexibility, relaxation, increased oxygen in the blood, and the easing of aches and pains. Just as with all massage therapy, Swedish massage helps rid toxins in the body, helps you recover more quickly from injuries, and reduces emotional and physical stress.

Specific Deep Tissue Massage
You will de-stress with a massage that consists of first warming the soft tissue and combining slower strokes with more pressure to free deeper muscle groups from pain. Deep tissue massage will improve movement in your joints, make it easier to stand with great posture and increase the circulation in your body. Nueromuscular and trigger point therapies are among modalities employed.

Sports Massage
Just as with Specific Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, a Sports Massage is specific to your situation. Whether you want a pre-event, post-event, restorative or rehabilitative massage, we will cater to your needs and wishes. We have experience with many different kinds of athletes and look forward to assisting you with your training.

Hot Stone Massage
First warm oil is applied. Then the journey begins with hot and/or cool stone massage. The basalt stones are heated and placed strategically along the back and sacrum, small stones between the toes and stones along the chakras (energy centers along the front of the body). Long, Swedish strokes in tandem with the therapist’s hands penetrates deeply into the muscles. The cool marble and polished glass pebbles flush the blood from the area, creating a dynamic contrast, both sedating and energizing. A touch of aromatherapy deepens the experience. This treatment will take you to a deeper level of relaxation.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This medical model massage involves the use of subtle manual maneuvers to aide in the recirculation of the lymphatic flow and more efficient removal of toxins from the body. A very gentle and relaxing experience, ask your doctor about Lymphatic massage therapy as part of a cancer recovery plan. This therapy may also be beneficial for those suffering from immune dysfunction.

Motherhood (Prenatal) Massage
Therapeutic bodywork which focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through dramatic changes. A customized massage assists in relieving lower back pain, water retention, sciatica problems as well as mental and physical fatigue. The massage is usually done with a bodycushion system or sidelying with your body supported by a body pillow, bolsters and regular pillows for comfort. No deep tissue work is done during this massage. Overall, monthly prenatal massages are wonderful for both mother and baby.

Cranio-sacral Therapy
Our clients remark of having gone to another world during their craniosacral sessions. The therapist uses the touch of about the weight of a nickel to evaluate the Craniosacral System. Specific techniques are used to release any restrictions or imbalances along the spine from the sacrum (tailbone) to the cranium (head). These releases provide the best possible environment for the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) to function. This treatment helps relieve stress, boost the immune system and enhance overall health and well-being. Benefits also include relief from insomnia, headaches, and anxiety. The client is fully clothed for this treatment.

Reflexology
…focuses fully on the foot. While it always feels good to receive a foot massage, reflexology therapy is more than just a foot massage. We begin with a hot foot soak, some salts and aromatherapy to soften skin and melt away tired aching feet. Massage of the feet to stimulate over 10,000 nerve endings that correspond to the organs in the body. Pressure points induce a very relaxing result. May also include paraffin dip for hands and feet. Creamy, nutrient rich foot butters are applied as a finishing touch. You will be walking on a cloud.

Raindrop Technique
…combines the science of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex, reflexology, massage, etc., in the application of essential oils, which are applied on various areas of the body to bring structural and electrical alignment. It is designed to bring balance to the body with its relaxing, mild application. It will also help to align and clear the energy centers of the body without using force or excessive pressure. When you combine the electrical frequency and the intelligence of the body and the oil, a greater healing process begins.

Our facility and garden may be reserved for your special occasion. Perfect for bridal and baby showers; Quilting groups, book clubs, and Red- Hatters, too. We will work with you to plan your event.
Corporate Chair Massage
Reduce work related stress, increase productivity and improve employee morale. We visit your office with our mobile massage chair. The chair is very supportive and allows for complete unwinding without taking up a lot of space.
Sports Team or Event Massage
Some of our therapists are available for on-site sports team or event massage. We bring our table and supplies, and you provide the location. Teams that have used our therapists include; Purdue Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Women's Tennis, and Men's Tennis. Please inquire about availability and pricing.
